Worship…

We are on a journey of learning  to put God first in our lives. This fuels our worship of God, our delight in Him, as we 'draw near to Him' so that He may 'draw near to us'.

We facilitate this through our various services throughout the week and through our personal walk with Christ.

Prayer…

As a church we are committed to personal and community fellowship with God through prayer.  This opens the door for God to work in powerful ways and bring glory to Himself.

We meet corporately for prayer on Wednesday evenings.  Monday evenings a Grandmothers' prayer group meets in prayer for grandchildren.

Music…

We worship God and minister to one another musically through a blend of  contemporary hymns such as those by Keith & Kristin Getty and Stuart Townend, as well as by classic hymns and gospel songs, and some other contemporary worship music.

Discipleship…

 We believe every Christian is a disciple, a learner in what it means to follow Christ in full obedience (Matt. 28:18-20).  Preaching and teaching of Scripture, the small group learning of the Sunday School setting, prayer, and mutual interaction with one another on an informal basis are all important avenues of advancing discipleship.

Evangelism….

We purpose to offer the Christianity Explored course yearly or more often, contingent on there being individuals interested in participating in this discussion-oriented survey of Mark's gospel in a setting of complete openness, shared meals, and with  'all questions permitted'.   We also want to grow in knowing Christ's love, boldness, and enabling in sharing Christ through relationships with others.

Church Programming…

We are not a heavily programmed church.  People's lives are busy and we want people to have time for involvement with friends and family as well as participation in the basics of church worship, growth and fellowship, and certainly cultivation of personal time with Christ in the Bible and prayer.  We are a church with a 'family' feel, with a mix of ages from high school to university and college age to career age and on up through retirement age.
